One of the perks of being a digital nomad is that there are plenty of incentives to take time out, away from the laptop to enjoy some me time. This particular afternoon break was in Karen Beach Phuket, half hour rest under a palm tree followed by a bit of wave diving to freshen up.
Back in the UK for the last 7 years it has been all work work work, 7 days a week, 12 hours a day and for what? You never get to reap the rewards properly of your endeavours.
That is why I chose to become a digital nomad, strike the right balance of work and play. Experience new things and actually get some worth in to my life.
For far too long I have been hung up on making other people happy and sacrificing my own time for the benefit of theirs. Well now it’s my time! Yes I have a business to run and clients to look after and that will never change, but now I am also making time for myself. For me to reap the rewards of my hard work and go and experience new things and places. Meet new people and I honestly believe it will make me a better person and improve my relationship with others.
Well the journey has commenced and I would love it if you follow my adventures here on my Blog and if there is any tiny inspiration that you gain from it, please let me know, I would love to hear from you.
